Based in Gomba, Mpigi and set up to work with farmers along the coffee value chain, the initiative aims to become a one stop centre for farmers to purchase quality inputs, receive training through the onsite demonstration farm and a produce collection centre working in collaboration with JKCC General Supplies, one of the leading coffee exporters in Uganda.
Based in Kakiri, Wakiso and working with farmers in Wakiso as well as the Busoga region, this initiative is providing value addition services along the maize value chain therefore providing much needed market access for farmers that were involved in the MACCA project that we run in the Busoga regions as well as other sub projects we have had supporting farmers in the central region of Uganda. The maize is processed into posho flour that is then sold to institutions that need bulk supplies.
Based in Kampala but working with farmers in Kayunga and Luwero, this initiative was formed with the aim of developing solutions along the fresh vegetables and fruits value chain with an end goal of providing market access in collaboration with companies that require bulk supplies.
Based in Nsangi, Wakiso but serving farmers from Butambala District, this initiative is providing market for ginger grown by women smallholder farmers based in Butambala and Masaka Districts. The ginger is processed by solar drying before being transferred to the processing facility in Nsangi where it is turned into powder that is packaged and then distributed to different wholesalers, retailers, and final consumers.

We devised ZECC, a refrigerator made of natural materials that extends the shelf life of produce resulting in preservation of food that would have expired due to weather & lack of access to market
